If you work within a knowledge-intensive tech or services firm, you know how important Employee Engagement is to your business. Hiring, motivating and retaining the best people is key. But do you have the right systems and processes in place to deliver on this important topic?
Skilo is a cloud-based Talent Management solution built on the Salesforce Lightning Platform, designed by HR professionals for knowledge-intensive tech and services firms. Skilo simplifies Talent Management processes - from talent acquisition through development to retention.
Difference
What sets Skilo aside is the combination of its tech architecture (built as a Native App on Salesforce Lightning Platform) and its pricing model (affordable, simple and transparent - see Summary below). If you have built your market-facing digital life on Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud, then the reasons to select Skilo become compelling: the same user interface, the same business logic - and the ability to add 'triangulation' with a third element: Custom Apps.

In practice Performance Reviews with Skilo become a way to relate Goals, Competencies and Development to actual Results captured in the integrated Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or any Custom Apps that may be created. This is illustrated in the infographic above and explained further in my blog post for Sales Enablement.
By linking the Performance Review to Results, the process becomes more objective and crucially, Agile: Performance Review as a continuous, everyday process, not an annual one-time event. This is true for all employees: tailored to link individual Goals, Development, Training and Reviews set-out in Skilo, to Achievements captured in Salesforce Sales Cloud.

As illustrated in the infographic above, employee Compensation can be mapped to specific outcomes recorded in Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud. This can range from Sales Revenues through to any other Business Value recorded in a Standard Object/Field or Custom Object/Field within Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
Each Business Value, originally set-up in the Skilo Review Module for each employee, can have a set of Rewards, as part of Achievements calculated from Results. In turn, the Results are generated from Opportunities recorded in Salesforce Sales Cloud. All of this relates to variable income paid and generated in a new Custom App called Compensation and these Business Values can be posted to a Payroll system via a Custom Integration engagement.
